Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Level Up 32 and how does it differ from a full standing desk?

The Level Up 32 is a desktop converter, which sits on top of your existing desk and raises just your work surface to standing height. It doesn't replace the desk underneath. This is a lower-cost way to get sit-stand functionality without changing your existing setup.

How much does it lift?

The Level Up 32 raises from 2.75 inches up to 15.75 inches above your desk surface. That range takes most users from standard seated typing height to comfortable standing typing height.

What size is the work surface?

The Level Up 32 measures 31.5 inches wide by 22.25 inches deep, which gives space for a laptop or single monitor plus a keyboard and mouse.

Can it hold dual monitors?

Yes. The Level Up 32 easily lifts dual monitors and laptops, with a maximum load capacity of 20 lbs across the surface.

How does it adjust?

A pneumatic air cylinder lets you adjust the height smoothly in seconds. Luxor's spring-loaded bumper technology also allows gentle lowering so the desktop doesn't slam down.

Does it need assembly?

No. The Level Up 32 comes preassembled and can be added to any surface with no setup time.

Is it stable at full height?

Yes. The Level Up 32 remains stable even at the maximum height of 15.75 inches, which means dual monitors and a typing keyboard won't shift the unit during use.

What's the difference between this and the Level Up 32 Pro?

The standard Level Up 32 has a 31.5 inch single-tier work surface. The Pro adds a two-tier design with a separate lower shelf for keyboard and mouse, which improves ergonomics by keeping the typing surface lower than the monitor surface.

How does it feel during typing?

The chamfered edges keep forearms comfortable while typing and working, which matters during long sessions standing.

Can I order one for a desk that's already set up and who do I contact?

Yes. The Level Up 32 is designed to add to any existing desk without changes. For multi-unit orders or office bundles, [contact us](https://activegoods.com/en-ca/pages/contact).
