Where a stool earns its place
A stool earns its place in three different kinds of setups. The standing desk where you want somewhere to perch. The classroom or training room that needs stackable seats for shared spaces. The compact corner where a full chair is too much.
The Stools collection at Active Goods groups all three together. The products often look similar but serve different purposes.
Stools for a standing desk
If you mostly stand at your desk and want a place to lean or perch, a sit-stand stool is closer to what you need than a full chair. The stools we carry for this use case tilt with you and adjust between standing and seated height, so you can switch postures without leaving the stool.
For longer sitting sessions at a standing desk, an active sit-stand chair with a backrest works better than a backless stool. Those sit alongside the stools in Active Chairs.
Active wobble stools
Wobble stools work the same way as wobble chairs. A rounded base lets you rock and shift while you sit, keeping you engaged without a backrest. The Kore line covers wobble stools across the same wide size range as its chairs, so you can fit them to kids or adults.
Wobble stools work well as a secondary seat you rotate to during the day, or as a primary seat for shorter focused tasks like quick work, study, or art.
Stackable classroom stools
Stackable plastic stools serve classrooms, training rooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces that need several seats with easy storage. The set we carry from Luxor stacks five high, comes in multiple colours, and holds up to daily school use.
These are built for casual seating in rooms that reconfigure often, with stackability prioritized over active sitting features.
